Rising to see your face each morn
To feel that indescribable warmth
To know that today you are a part of my bliss

Looking forward to holding you deep in my embrace
Silken skin like a pleasant fire upon my essence
Drifting off to the realm of dreams you delightfully invade

Long have I enjoyed to greet you upon the morn
Knowing your presence is a treasured gift
A blessing undeserving to be given to an ageless man

Timelessness is a just a word when you are there
Radiance to make an old living husk breath joy
To once again feel that life is not endless suffering

Awakening from a dream of a long since love lost
Aching in the depths of a loving heart of a wondrous pearl
Always lingering in that edge of a realm beyond comprehension

Now the pearl of my life is but a horrid shade
Teasing my dreams with a lust of life once known
A striking reminder of an age where I cared so much

A remembrance that always brings a tear to a morn
That was a painting of magnificence in my mind
Now I continue my journey that I once shared

A nightmare and joy entertwined in endless combat
But I still smile knowing I had a piece to reflect upon
