Making small steps. . .

     I know it has been quite some time since I wrote a new journal. I have been wrestling with finding my niche in society, or the world in which I dwell. It's a struggle to find a place, in which, to remain happy and content, because I long for things so far out of my reach that even dreams seem closer to reality.
     I have had a series of unfortunate events to which I am put into a stand-still. From personal injury; which hinders getting a job, and the all important money. To the loss of a dear cousin and brother-in-arms from a long battle with cancer. I know that life makes our roads rough with uneven terrain, so we have to work for the ultimate goal in life. I put one foot in front of the other in hopes that I may find that door to open, which gives me the way to help those around me, and for once gives me a way to be content/happy.
     

     As for art updating: I have been updating every Tuesday, as best as I can, with some poetry from a book I have them collected in. I didn't want to submit them here, as I tried to get them published but was unable to. So I decided to share them here for someone, anyone who likes to read poetry from an okay poet.
     I have also been trying my hand at creating a fantasy story set in a modern world of today, with hidden supernatural creatures that exist along side our world. I know that format has been done before, but I'll try it out and see if I can create something unique in it.

     That's all for now, but I will try to update more regularly on here, besides my poetry Tuesdays.
